As the Manager of Strategic Partnerships and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Patricia plays an instrumental role in helping shape and implement the long-term strategic vision for the Xerox Research Centre of Canada (XRCC).
Patricia was a key architect of XRCC’s Client Services Business initiated in 2012, the establishment of the Advanced Materials Innovation Hub model that helps startups bridge the gap between laboratory scale demonstration and commercializing research outcomes in the marketplace, and of the XRCC-NRC partnership to create CCAMM – the Canadian Campus for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing.
Patricia joined XRCC in 1990 and has overseen the Centre’s intellectual property agreements with external partners and other R&D institutions since 1999. She has been a member of the XRCC Senior Leadership Team since 2004. Patricia currently sits on the Board of Directors of NGen Canada and is a past member and vice chair of the inaugural Governing Board of the Canadian Centre for Electron Microscopy located at McMaster University.
