At the Xerox Research Centre of Canada (XRCC), David drives the development of materials innovation through design, process engineering, and scale-up, bringing technologies from concept to commercialization for both Xerox and external clients. Currently David is Manager of the Systems Design Engineering (SDE) Group, and also leads XRCC’s Cleantech Program. He has brought enhanced focus to the development of novel continuous process intensification, as well as to early integration of techno‑economic analysis tools to de-risk research and commercialization pathways. David joined XRCC in 2011 following undergraduate and graduate studies in Chemical Engineering at McMaster University and prior to managing the SDE group, he was Principal Engineer in Scale-up Engineering. He has published numerous journal articles and patents and has been recognized by Xerox Corporation for creation of a strategically important IP portfolio.
