Research Interactions and Outreach
XRCC provides support for university research, education and outreach through academic research support, conference sponsorship, and our co-op student program. For more information, please contact us.
Support for academic research
Xerox supports academic research through the Xerox corporate University Affairs Committee and the XRCC Research Interactions and Outreach Committee. All academic research interactions are initiated internally by XRCC researchers, who identify and contact potential grant recipients directly at the beginning of the application process.
Sponsorship and outreach
XRCC regularly sponsors major academic conferences in Canada in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, and related disciplines, and hosts the Xerox Distinguished Lecture Series, open to the public and held every fall at XRCC. We also support outreach organizations active in the Greater Toronto Area, including Shad Valley, Let's Talk Science, and the Canadian Coalition for Tomorrow's ICT Skills (CCICT).
Co-op student program
Students are a key component of our research activities at XRCC. Placements are available for qualified students in chemistry, chemical engineering, and related fields. Check your campus co-op office for more information.
