Ontario's Lieutenant Governor visits Xerox Research Centre of Canada's innovation hub

Ontario's Lieutenant Governor, the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, today visited the Xerox Research Centre of Canada's (XRCC) thriving open innovation hub, which is helping Canadian start-ups accelerate development and commercialization of their advanced materials manufacturing breakthroughs. The XRCC enables start-ups to use seed funding to focus on developing their technologies instead of spending it on capital expenses, to help push the boundaries of advanced materials manufacturing in Canada. Pictured with Ontario's Lieutenant Governor in the XRCC's printed electronics lab is centre vice president Dr. Paul Smith, who sits on the board of the Ontario Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster, now known as Next Generation Manufacturing (NGM) Canada.
