Xerox Research Centre of Canada's innovation hub helps position Toronto as one of the top ten cities for corporate innovation

Toronto, ON - Joining the ranks alongside Seattle, New York, San Francisco, and others, Toronto has been named one of the top ten North American cities on the rise for corporate innovation. In its run-down of Toronto, Innovation Leader magazine notes MaRS Discovery District, Communitech Hub, and the Xerox Research Centre of Canada as considerations for Toronto making the list.
Innovation Leader Magazine evaluated cities on five criteria including R&D investment levels, partner ecosystems, start-up density, the presence of top-tier research universities, and networking events. The complete list of Top 10 Cities for Corporate Innovation are San Francisco/San Jose, Boston/Cambridge, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Toronto, and Minneapolis.
